We have a very straight forward idea about pub quizzes – that learning doesn’t have to be boring, and that terrible dad jokes and puns are applicable all the time.
Dux Nuts started as a small hobby in one venue next to the University of WA. Our keep it simple approach proved to be a hit, with good old fashioned trivia fun. As popularity grew, so too did our venue list. We now boast one of the biggest availability of quiz night’s across Western Australia and have no intention of slowing down.
Whether you need an entertaining night to drive patrons to your venue, or need to raise funds for a worthy cause, Dux Nuts has you covered for all your Trivia needs. For our players, we offer a simple model, where questions aren’t too complicated and everyone can play (doesn’t mean it’s easy though!).
Shane Musarra
FOUNDER AND
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Perth’s least known quiz host . Accidentally stumbling into the trivia host game over a decade ago, Shane has steered the ship to grow Dux Nuts from a casual hobby, into the biggest Trivia company in Western Australia.
If you ever catch a typo that’s slipped through into a show, it’s likely because of Shane’s type fast, check later approach. If your team was pinged for using a phone or having too many people, again you can blame Shane.
When he’s not in the office, he’s now reviewing content for trivia shows, engaging with venues, co-ordinating corporate/private functions, and supporting the team on the ground to successfully entertain crowds.

“What started off as a simple dream – a man with a microphone and a crowd half listening to his sultry voice asking the hard questions about Celine Dion, and all the Uranus questions that you could poke a stick at, has blossomed into not even being able to host anymore – but focuses most of his attentions on rosters, new venues, and why all of his staff are constantly needing time off.
Catch him working in the background now in the office, tearing his hair out as to why there are so many people booked off for next week.

All she asks is that you laugh at her jokes (or at her as long as you’re laughing). Her likes include Marvel / DC, and road trips, her dislikes include not knowing the answer to quiz questions, people who don’t indicate and movies where people die…
